The Sliding Window Buffer Block is a functional accessory developed for aluminum alloy sliding window systems. It is designed to help improve the sealing condition between sliding window components while reducing wind penetration, vibration and noise caused by movement around the sash and frame.
As shown in the installation application, the buffer block works inside the aluminum window profile and is positioned around the area where two sliding components meet. Its specially arranged contact structure allows it to occupy part of the open gap while still accommodating the movement required during normal window operation.
For sliding windows exposed to outdoor wind, small gaps around the sash can become a source of air leakage and rattling. When the window components move against each other, vibration may also create additional operating noise. Installing an appropriate buffer component can help minimize unnecessary movement and reduce the direct path through which air and dust can enter.
